Huawei Y6s saw a phenomenal response from consumers during pre-orders, claims Huawei. The smartphone is now up for sales nationwide starting today.
The company put the smartphone for pre-booking during the last weekend and offered a cashback discount of 800 rupees. The phone is now available at the retail price of Rs. 20,899 from online and offline stores.
The phone comes in two color options – Midnight Black or Orchid Blue. However, it seems you won’t get the blue Y6s anytime soon as the variant has gone out of stock as per online records. Huawei Y6s Features
Huawei Y6s is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and 2.3GHz Octa-core processor. Paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the phone supports expandable storage up to 512GB via microSD card. The phone comes with Huawei’s proprietary Extendable Read-Only File System (EROFS) with improved compression that provides extra storage space in addition to better performance and speed.
The 6.09-inch screen has a dewdrop notch thin bezels around the IPS display of 720p HD+ resolution. The phone’s display is TÜV Rheinland certified while it also has the Eye-Comfort Mode to further ease extended usage. The phone is backed up by a 3,020mAh battery and runs Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.1.
The device packs with a 13MP rear camera and an f/1.8 aperture lens on the back which is said to capture vivid images, even in the darkest environments. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera, enriched with an ambient light-sensor and proximity-sensor to take spectacular selfies.
For the music-lovers, the Y6s comes with Huawei’s SuperSound that delivers more clarity with an 11V smart-power Amplifier. It produces more quality sound at higher volumes with the sound-effects algorithms. “Huawei’s Histen 5.0, backed by a 5.1 stereo surround-sound create an immersive experience for theater-like effects.”
