OPPO has launched the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro smartphones in Pakistan. The company announced the new Reno3 series in the first-ever online launch event in the country.
The phone comes with the world’s first 44MP+2MP dual front-facing camera. It comes in a dual punch hole Super AMOLED Display. Following the introduction of a 5G version in China, OPPO has opted to build an international Reno3 Series edition that suits market needs better. In Pakistan, you get a 4G model of Reno3 or Reno3 Pro.
OPPO Reno 3 and Reno3 Pro Global Features
The Reno3-series features 6.4-inch AMOLED display with full HD resolution. The Reno3 has a dew-drop notch with an embedded 44MP front-facing camera, while the Reno3 Pro has a dual front camera setup (44MP+2MP) in the punch-hole display.
Reno3 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P90 and Reno3 Pro with Helio P95. The variants in China featured MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000L and Snapdragon 765G respectively. Both the phones will have 8GB of RAM, however, the Reno3 will offer 128GB of internal storage while the Reno3 Pro will have 256GB of internal storage.
Both the phones carry identical quad-camera setup on the back. A 48MP main rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, 13MP camera with f/2.4 telephoto lens, 8MP unit with f/2.4 ultra-wide lens, and 2MP monochrome sensor. OPPO says the phone can actually take 108MP photos with its AI tech. The phone also has a 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom. There is an Ultra Dark Mode for capturing photos in low-light, a video bokeh mode, and even a macro mode even though it doesn’t have a macro camera.
Running Android 10 and ColorOS 7, both the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro feature a 4025 mAh battery. The USB Type-C connectivity comes with the VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. The phone has stereo speakers, an audio jack and hi-res audio with Dolby ATMOS. Both the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro come with the under-display fingerprint sensor.
OPPO Enco Free
Closely following the Reno 3 flagship series, OPPO also launches OPPO Enco Free. This product is a part of OPPO’s mission to “bring amazing user experiences to Pakistani users through innovative, high-quality products.”
Pricing and Availability
OPPO Reno3 and Reno3 Pro will be available for pre-order from 20th March 2020 with the price tag of PKR 59,999 and PKR 69,999 respectively. Both the devices will be available nationwide on 28th March 2020.
The OPPO Enco Free will be also available for purchase in Pakistan on 28th March 2020 at PKR 16,999.
