OPPO Reno3 and Find X2 to launch in Pakistan on March 19th

With the official global launch, OPPO is all set to announce the availability of Reno3 and Reno3 Pro in Pakistan. The company will launch the new series in the country on March 19th, 2020 through an online live stream.

Just like any other thing on earth, OPPO’s launch event in Pakistan has also been affected by the coronavirus global outbreak. The company has cancelled the launch event in the country and preferred to announce through their Facebook fan page where you can watch the live telecast of the digital launch.

If you didn’t know the Reno3 series also have a 5G variant that which you shouldn’t expect to launch in Pakistan. So stick with the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro, which will be launched just in two days. These global variants are widely different from the ones launched in China later last year.

OPPO Reno 3 and Reno3 Pro Global Features

The Reno3-series features 6.4-inch AMOLED display with full HD resolution. The Reno3 has a dew-drop notch with an embedded 44MP front-facing camera, while the Reno3 Pro has a dual front camera setup (44MP+2MP) in the punch-hole display.

Reno3 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P90 and Reno3 Pro with Helio P95. The variants in China featured MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000L and Snapdragon 765G respectively. Both the phones will have 8GB of RAM, however, the Reno3 will offer 128GB of internal storage while the Reno3 Pro will have 256GB of internal storage.

Both the phones carry identical quad-camera setup on the back. A 48MP main rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, 13MP camera with f/2.4 telephoto lens, 8MP unit with f/2.4 ultra-wide lens, and 2MP monochrome sensor. OPPO says the phone can actually take 108MP photos with its AI tech. The phone also has a 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom. There is an Ultra Dark Mode for capturing photos in low-light, a video bokeh mode, and even a macro mode even though it doesn’t have a macro camera.

Running Android 10 and ColorOS 7, both the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro feature a 4025 mAh battery. The USB Type-C connectivity comes with the VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. The phone has stereo speakers, an audio jack and hi-res audio with Dolby ATMOS. Both the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro come with the under-display fingerprint sensor.

Reno3 series Availability and Prices

Both the phones will be available in two colour options — Aurora Blue, and Midnight Black. Pricing will be revealed during the announcement on March 19th, 2020. Our wild guess that the Reno3 may cost around PKR 65,000 in Pakistan while the Reno3 Pro may be priced around PKR 85,000.

OPPO Find X2 Pakistan Launch

While reading the official OPPO Pakistan’s adverts only reveals about the Reno3 series, you can expect the flagship Find X2 to launch as well in the country. The Find X2 is currently available only in China but the company has announced the availability of the phone in various other countries including Pakistan.

We have also heard via reliable sources that OPPO Pakistan had plans to launch Reno3 and Find X2 in a single launch event, which has been cancelled due to coronavirus. Now we hope the company will announce the Find X2 along with the Reno3 in its digital launch on March 19th.
