TCL launched its C8 series 4K Ultra HD Smart TV in Pakistan a couple of weeks ago that runs Android TV Platform. We got a chance to review the 55-inch variant of this TV and it actually impressed us. The review has been published over at YouTube and you can find the video after the break.
This new TCL C8 series features 4K Ultra HD display resolution. The TV runs TCL TV+ 3 UI with Android TV platform. C8 also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision content. Dolby Vision could only be tested through Netflix. The Wide Color Gamut offers over 90% of DCI-P3 colour space. Micro Dimming Pro, Dynamic Contrast and Backlight is adjustable from picture settings.
The best of this TV is, of course, its sound quality. The TV features an ONKYO soundbar with 2.2 sound system. It supports Dolby ATMOS when attached to 5.1 or 7.1 external surround systems.
