Huawei introduces its latest two smartphones – the budget Huawei Y6p and the lower mid-range Huawei Y8p. Both the phones are now available for pre-order starting today. The pre-booking will stay on from Monday, 22 June – 29 June 2020.
The all-new Huawei Y6p and Huawei Y8p are part of Huawei’s Y Series line-up for 2020 targeting young consumers. Customers can pre-order the Huawei Y6p and Huawei Y8p and avail the double-deposit offer. For Huawei Y6p, pre-order starts from paying PKR 800/- which equals PKR 1,600/-, while for Huawei Y8p, a deposit of PKR 1,500/- equals PKR 3,000/-.
The Huawei Y6p carries an entry-level price tag of PKR 20,899/- while the Huawei Y8p goes for PKR 37,999/-.

Powered by MediaTek Helio P22, the Huawei Y6p packs with a 5,000 mAh battery, a 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The entry-level phone offers a triple camera setup with a 13MP main camera, a 5MP camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh shots.
On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera inside the display notch. Huawei Y6p features a 6.3-inch HD+ display and the fingerprint sensor is mounted on the back. The phone supports Huawei SuperSound for crisp audio and louder surround-sound.
Huawei Y8p
On the other hand, the Huawei Y8p features triple camera setup bundled with 48MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.
The phone comes with a Kirin 710F chipset along with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Running Android 10 and EMUI 10.1, the device is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery.
Huawei Y8p features a 6.3-inch OLED display with a dewdrop notch. The screen offers FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080). There is an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Y6p and Y8p come with Huawei AppGallery pre-installed, to empower the users with access to many global and local apps. It is the third-largest app marketplace in the world, taking full advantage of Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) and a variety of cross-platform apps. For more apps, people can use AppFinder and other third-party app stores too.
Pricing and Availability
Huawei Y6p comes in three distinct colours – Phantom Purple, Emerald Green and Midnight Black, and costs PKR 20,899.
Huawei Y8p is priced at PKR 37,999 and is available in two colours –Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black.
