Huawei Y9a outfits as a premium Mate 30 lineup

Huawei Y9a Leaked Banner

Huawei’s mid-range and budget smartphones have been appearing in leaked renders and banners. Today it’s about Huawei Y9a that apparently has an outfit of Huawei Mate 30 lineup.

First appeared on GSM Arena, the newly leaked smartphone was seen by someone in ad banners put up on a Huawei shop. The ad literally reveals some of the key elements about the smartphone including its name as “Huawei Y9a”.

The banner suggests that the Huawei Y9a will have a memory configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. You can expect it to arrive in other memory configurations as well depending on regions.

64MP primary camera and 40-watt SuperCharge are the two things that also featured on the banner. However, the renders reveal that the primary camera will be a quad-camera setup. The front-facing camera, on the other hand, will reside in a pop-up camera module, as there is no notch on the display nor the hole-punch.

The fingerprint sensor is apparently mounted into the power button on the right-hand side. We can also see the two colour options in the banner, however, what they will be named is not yet known. Previously, Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus was also leaked in with a similar design.

There is no other detail in public but what you should be assured of is that Huawei Y9a won’t come with the support of Google Mobile Services (or GMS) like many recent Huawei smartphones. Instead, the Huawei Y9a will come with the proprietary Huawei Mobile Service (or HMS), hence the phone will be shipped with Huawei AppGallery and not the Google Play Store.

There is no detail about the core specifications of the Huawei Y9a, however, the phone is most likely to launch soon. The pricing and the availability of the phone will be revealed during the official launch.
