Vivo V20 launched in Pakistan with 64MP rear and 44MP front camera
Vivo launched a new addition to its flagship V-series, the Vivo V20 on October 13. The new phone costs Rs. 59,999 in Pakistan and comes with a high-resolution 64-megapixel rear camera along with another hi-res 44MP selfie camera.
Vivo cuts the sale of Vivo V19 and brings a worthy successor for the same price featuring a more recent and improved gaming chipset. However, the company focuses on the camera more than anything else in the new Vivo V20.
The V20 features a 7.38mm thin design and 2.5D body weighing 171 grams. The phone has a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with Vivo’s signature In-Display Fingerprint Scanning Technology.
Vivo V20 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor along with an 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. The phone comes pre-installed with Funtouch OS 11 on top of Android 11
The phone packs with a 4,000mAh battery with 33W FlashCharge that can replenish the battery to 65% with lightning speed. With the strong battery and flash charge support, users can have a more convenient mobile experience and record themselves in various scenarios.
The Vivo V20 features a 64MP rear camera, with an undisclosed sensor type, that supports Super Night Mode and “vigorous zooming” that might mean hybrid zoom. The main camera is accompanied by a secondary 8MP camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens. It’s an autofocus camera that works for macro shots as well as a depth sensor for bokeh and portrait shots – a single camera for three jobs. There is a third 2MP camera with a monochrome sensor for picture clarity.
Within the camera, Vivo likes you know that it has provided you “professional-grade 44MP Eye Autofocus camera in the V20 with advance Autofocus (AF) capabilities for highly defined selfie experience.” We are not sure how that will work in the new Vivo V20, but autofocus capability in front cameras are not new, if not common. Samsung and Nokia have provided front cameras with autofocus features previously. It’s indeed a welcomed feature for a selfie camera.
The camera features include Super Night Selfie, Dual-view video combining both the front and back cameras, Slo-mo Selfie video at 240FPS, Steadiface Selfie Video (EIS). 4K Selfie Video, Multi-Style Portrait and AR stickers.

Vivo V20 is currently available for Pre-order in Pakistan for the price of Rs. 59,999 only. The phone will go on sale starting the October 17 and will be available in two colour options Midnight Jazz and Sunset Melody.
