Vivo and ZEISS officially announce their partnership for Mobile Imaging

Vivo and ZEISS will co-engineer an imaging system for Vivo’s premium smartphones, as announced under the strategic collaboration. The upcoming Vivo X60 series will be the first range of products to feature the first “Vivo ZEISS co-engineered imaging system”.

The two companies have shared their plans to establish a joint research and development (R&D) program, called “Vivo ZEISS Imaging Lab”.

With the collaboration, Vivo – the Chinese smartphone maker, and ZEISS – a global leader in optics and optoelectronics based in Germany, will use their strengths and combine to advance mobile photography technology.

In addition to the joint R&D program, the companies will launch the “Vivo ZEISS Master Photography” campaign to promote the Vivo ZEISS co-engineered imaging system and to inspire users with the creative features in Vivo’s flagship smartphones.
