Vivo further expands its Y series portfolio in Pakistan with the youth-centric Y33s. The phone will be launched by the end of this month starting with pre-booking.
A leading global technology brand, Vivo, today confirmed through a press release. The upcoming launch of Y33s in its youth-centric Y series on September 28, 2021. Along with this, the phone will go on pre-order for the customers in the country to book one for them.
According to all the information provided through a press release, the upcoming Y33s smartphone packs a 50MP camera. A 5000 mAh battery comes with 18-watt fast charging support. Vivo has not provided any further detail about the specifications or features of the device in Pakistan but a mention of 8GB RAM in the teaser shot. As the phone was launched yesterday in India, the specifications of the phone are more likely to follow here.
Vivo Y33s has a 6.58-inch large screen with 1080p FHD+ resolution. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor which is a gaming processor and works really well on a budget. There is only a single memory configuration that is 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage – half of the part also matches the press release.
The main 50-megapixel camera features a large f/1.8 aperture lens and it’s paired with two more secondary cameras. A 2MP camera with an f/2.4 lens aperture is used for portrait shots and another 2MP camera with an f/2.4 lens aperture works for macro shots. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 lens aperture.
The battery is indeed 5,000 mAh as officially released by Vivo Pakistan, and it also supports 18-watt fast charging. The phone runs Android 11 and the company’s Funtouch OS 11.1 out of the box.
Pricing and Memory Options
Though the Y33s yet only seen with one memory configuration of 8GB+128GB, you may see one more or one less memory option as well which is very unlikely.
With regard to pricing, Vivo will officially announce the pricing and colour options on the day of launch. However, we expect the price of the 8GB/128GB variant to be around PKR 40,000, considering the launch price in India.
