Infinix, yesterday, announced the launch of its new Zero X series in Pakistan. The two smartphones Zero X Pro and Zero X Neo are set to go for pre-booking through the company’s online store.
The new smartphone Zero X Neo and Zero X Pro will go on pre-orders from October 11th, 2021, at 10 AM. Infinix is offering free gifts with pre-orders as well as a special price discount during the month of October.
All the Zero X Series smartphones feature a dual-chip flagship gaming processor, which combines the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset with the MediaTek Intelligent Display chipset.
The MediaTek Helio G95 processor is a 64-bit octa-core processor with two performance core ARM Cortex-A76, six power-efficient core Cortex-A55 CPUs clocked at 2.05GHz and 2GHz respectively. The chip has an ARM Mali-G76 GPU with MP4(-900 MHz).
The processor integrates MediaTek’s HyperEngine Technology to enable a faster response between the smartphone and the cell tower, while also enabling connection to two Wi-Fi bands or routers simultaneously for lower game latency and reduced lag. The MediaTek Helio G95 chipset is paired with an individual Intelligent Display chipset to create the Dual-Chip flagship gaming processor that further boosts the smartphone’s visual capabilities.
Infinix X Pro and Zero X feature 6.67-inch active-matrix organic light-emitting diodes (AMOLED) display. It supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Zero X Neo, on the other hand, features a 6.78-inch IPS display with a 180Hz touch sampling rate and 90Hz refresh rate. All variants feature full HD+ resolution.
The high-end Pro model features a 60X periscope camera which is advertised by the company to capture the moon. Infinix mentions the Galileo Algorithm running the system to allow a high resolution looking shot of the Moon.
Infinix Zero X Pro features a 108MP camera which is Samsung’s ISOCELL HM2 sensor of type 1/1.52″. The main camera features an f/1.79 aperture lens with optical image stabilization (OIS) Alongside there is an 8MP ultra-wide camera and another 8MP telephoto camera with 5x zoom. The telephoto camera is based on a periscope design and also features an OIS with 60x hybrid zoom.
The low priced Zero X Neo is equipped with a 48MP main camera. It also features the same periscope 8MP camera with a telephoto lens and 5x optical zoom. Fortunately, it also takes supermoon shots.
For the selfie camera, the Zero X Series offers a 16MP dual front flash and enhanced AI shooting technology to capture the perfect selfies. All the Zero X Series smartphones support 960 FPS super slow-motion videos and 4K time-lapse.
The Zero X Pro and Zero X are equipped with a 4500mAh battery with 45W quick charge technology and TÜV Rheinland safe fast-charge technology. According to the company’s claim, it charges the device to 40% in 15 minutes with added safety and assurance.
The Zero X NEO has a large 5000mAh battery with fully optimized TÜV Rheinland 18W Safe Fast-Charge Technology empowering today’s youth to do more on their smartphones.
The new Zero X series run the Android 11 operating system with XOS 7.6 on top.
Price and Availability
The Infinix Zero X Series includes the Zero X Pro and Zero X Neo in Pakistan. There is another model in the middle tier dubbed Zero X which will not be available in Pakistan during this phase.
The Zero X Pro has been retailed Rs. 49,999 while the introductory price tag is 47,999. The Zero X Pro will be available in three colours: Nebula Black, Starry Silver and Tuscany Brown.
The Infinix Zero X Neo costs Rs. 34,999 while during the month of October the customers will have to pay only Rs. 32,999. Zero X Neo will be available in three colours: Nebula Black, Starry Silver and Bahamas Blue.
Both smartphones will be available for pre-order on October 11th, 2021 from the company’s online store Xpark. In addition to special price discounts, the early birds will also get free iRocker 2 Earbuds (XE18) worth Rs 2,299 with the purchase of Infinix Zero X Pro. The buyers of Zero X Neo will get the XE15 Earbuds worth 2,499.
By the way, free gifts worth is only mentioned for promotion’s sake as these earbuds have already been on sale with over 50% discounts. The XE18 currently costs Rs. 1,499 on Xpark, while the XE15’s current price is Rs. 1,350.
