Tecno Camon 18 Premier with Gimbal Stabilization set to launch in Pakistan this month

Tecno is all set to launch the Camon 18 Premier in Pakistan. The phone stands among a series of three devices launched globally last month is now expected to launch in Pakistan in November.

The launch date and the price of the Camon 18 series are yet not been confirmed but it is expected to be here in Pakistan by the end of November. According to a news update, the Camon 18 series will include three devices – Camon 18 Premier, Camon 18P, and Camon18T version.

Tecno Camon 18 Premier specifications

Measuring 163.8×75.85×8.15mm and with AGC glass on the back panel, the Camon 18 Premier sports a 6.7-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels across. The AMOLED display comes with a peak brightness of 550 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Camon 18 packs the newly launched MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The Camon 18 Premier features a triple rear camera setup carrying a main 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel sensor with the company’s first-ever gimbal-stabilisation, and an 8-megapixel periscope zoom lens with 60x Hyper Zoom support.

Just like Infinix Zero X Pro, The Camon 16 Premier features a Moon Probe feature that uses its Galileo algorithm to capture images of the Moon.

Apart from the primary camera on the back, the Camon 18 Premier features a 32-megapixel selfie camera with a dual-LED flash on the front.

Tecno Camon 18 Premier runs the Android 11 operating system with the proprietary Hi-OS 8.0 on top. The phone packs a 4,750mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging that according to the company’s claims can charge up to 64 per cent in under 30 minutes.

Among additional features of the Camon 18 Premier, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port are prominent. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also present while the phone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Tecno Camon 18 Premier price, availability

The phone was previously launched in Nigeria cost around $458. Considering that pricing, customers in Pakistan can expect it to be priced around PKR 75,000. However, in Pakistan, the price should be much lower than that. Our guess is around PKR 50,000. What’s yours? Tell us in the comments below.

The phone will be available in two colours Polar Night and Vast Sky colour options. The phone is expected to arrive later in south Asian markets.
