Huawei Consumer Business Group (BG) has recently launched the Huawei WiFi AX2 router in their AX Series. It is the new smart router that supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and is an addition to the Huawei WiFi AX Series for home users.
The Huawei WiFi AX2 Wi-Fi 6 Smart Router supports significantly improved throughput and capacity to provide smoother HD video streaming, more responsive online gaming experiences and more.
As a Wi-Fi 6 router, the Huawei WiFi AX2 supports a peak theoretical rate of dual-band wireless connection at 1501 Mbps. The router supports True Dual-band Technology, as the previous Huawei routers did, that can automatically switch between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies.
Featuring HarmonyOS Mesh+, it lets users easily connect multiple units of Huawei WiFi AX2 for better Wi-Fi coverage at home. The Super Seamless Roaming feature ensures low-latency roaming for an uninterrupted Wi-Fi experience.
Besides better Wi-Fi speed and coverage, the new router is also compatible with the Huawei AI Life app, with which users have access to a wide range of smart tools for managing their home networks.
The Huawei WiFi AX2 router includes three adaptive WAN/LAN ports that intelligently identify WAN cables and LAN cables. Setting up your home network is now easier because either the WAN or LAN cable works with the new AX2 smart router.
For privacy protection and network security, the Huawei WiFi AX2 router uses the Huawei HomeSecT solution which includes attack prevention and supports the latest Wireless Protected Access III (WPA3) Authentication and Encryption Standard.
