Tipster Digital Chat Station claims Apple’s next thin iPhone gets a flat 6.55-inch OLED panel running at 120Hz, with 1.5K-plus resolution. The phone is also said to run a 2nm A20-series chip. None of this is confirmed by Apple.
The claims come from a post the tipster made on Weibo, as relayed by GSMArena. Treat the specs with a pinch of salt until Apple says something.
What is new and what repeats
Little here is fresh. GSMArena’s write-up says the tipster has “once again” gone through the main specs, so it is a repeat of earlier claims rather than a new find. Other leaks the same article points to claim dual 48MP rear cameras (a wide and an ultrawide), a larger battery than the first iPhone Air, a body about 5.2mm thick, and Apple’s own N2 wireless and C2 modem chips.
An earlier battery rumour put the capacity at around 3,500mAh or higher. None of those numbers has an official source behind it.
| Claim | Who says it |
|---|---|
| 6.55-inch flat OLED, 120Hz, 1.5K+ | Digital Chat Station |
| 2nm A20-series chip | Digital Chat Station (reported) |
| Dual 48MP rear cameras | Earlier leaks |
| Battery of around 3,500mAh or more | Earlier rumour |
| 5.2mm body, N2 and C2 chips | Other leaks |
Spring 2027 is the window the same report gives, with the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e arriving in the same launch. We covered the iPhone 18e leak earlier this week, which also pointed to an A20 chip.
Apple has not announced the phone or given a date.
