Oppo’s Reno17 phones are coming to China in November, the company has said. Shoppers there can already put their name down on Oppo’s online store, but no launch date has been announced.
Two other products will go on sale at the same event: the Oppo Watch 5 smartwatch and the Pad Air 6 tablet, both open for pre-reservation. Oppo made the announcement through its official Weibo account.
Two phones, specs from leaks only
The company has not published specifications. What circulates comes from leaks, which GSMArena collected in its report on the announcement. The lineup is tipped to be a Reno17 and a Reno17 Pro.
For the standard model, the tip is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. The Pro supposedly pairs a Dimensity 8550 with a 6.32-inch OLED panel, a 200MP main camera and a 7,000mAh cell. ColorOS 17 on Android 17 is expected on both.
Until Oppo posts a spec sheet, treat those figures as unconfirmed. Only the November timing comes from the company, and a global release has not been mentioned.
The reservations are effectively blind: buyers are signing up before the phones’ specifications or prices have been shown. Oppo has also not named a launch date for the Watch 5 or the Pad Air 6, beyond saying they will arrive alongside the Reno17 series.
