Grand Theft Auto VI reportedly has 55 trophies on PlayStation 5 and 55 achievements on Xbox Series X and S. The count comes from leakers rather than Rockstar, which has not published a trophy list, so treat the number as unconfirmed.
TexFunz2 reportedly posted the Xbox total first, and the PlayStation Game Size account is said to have matched it for Sony’s console. GameRoll passed both on in a post on X that says the list is all single-player. Neither entry list shows names, which would give away story details.
One of the Xbox achievements is reportedly worth 1,000 points. That would make it a rare top-value achievement, the Xbox counterpart to a PlayStation platinum trophy. The leaks do not say whether the PS5 list has a platinum. GameRoll put the count against earlier Rockstar games, saying GTA 5 had 32 single-player trophies and Red Dead Redemption 2 had 35. Those figures only count single-player goals, so the comparison is rough. With online goals counted, the launch lists were longer: one tally gives GTA 5 49 achievements on Xbox 360 and 50 trophies on PS3, and Red Dead Redemption 2 51 and 52 across Xbox One and PS4, platinum included.
Rockstar’s own game page lists no trophy information. Trophy and achievement lists normally appear on store pages and tracking sites close to release, so the final number could still change.
For readers who do not chase completion lists: trophies are PlayStation’s version of Xbox achievements, and a platinum trophy is awarded once every other trophy in a game is unlocked. Xbox has no platinum, so a single 1,000-point entry is the nearest thing to one. GameRoll called the number another sign of how large the game is, which is its own reading of the leak and not something the leakers claim.
