Motorola Signature 27 launches 5 November with Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme

Motorola has set 5 November for the Signature 27, its top Android phone, with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip and a 200MP periscope camera.

Key points

  • Motorola Signature 27 launches on 5 November.
  • It runs Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and Android 17.
  • Price and country availability are not yet announced.

Motorola will launch the Signature 27 on 5 November, narrowing down the vague “this November” it had been using. It is the company’s top Android phone for 2026, and the full specs and pricing have been held back until now.

What Motorola has shown so far centres on speed. The phone made its first appearance at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit in September, and the company calls it its fastest Android phone yet, without naming a price.

What is already known about the hardware

Motorola’s Signature 27 page confirms the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip and promises “breakthrough AI” and an elite-level camera system. GSMArena’s launch-date report adds the rest of what has been shared. Heat is handled by Motorola’s ArcticMesh design, whose vapor chamber is 40% bigger than the one in last year’s model. On the back sit a 50MP Sony Lytia 910 main sensor with optical stabilisation and a 200MP periscope telephoto, and Bang & Olufsen tuned the speakers. Android 17 comes preinstalled, with seven years of OS updates promised.

The remaining cameras have not been detailed, even though the camera bump is big enough to suggest several lenses. A European retailer listing reportedly points to a high price, but Motorola has published none.

Pricing and availability

Motorola’s US site is taking sign-ups for the launch. The Signature 27 has no confirmed price in any market, and the company has not said which countries will get it.

The full specification sheet and pricing should arrive with the 5 November announcement.
