Redmi Pad 3 reportedly lined up in Wi-Fi and 4G versions

Certification listings in Malaysia, the UAE, Thailand, Indonesia and Taiwan point to a Redmi Pad 3 with a Wi-Fi-only and a 4G model, but Xiaomi has not announced either.

Key points

  • Redmi Pad 3 has reportedly appeared in several certification databases.
  • Models 2610FRP38G (Wi-Fi only) and 26104RPF2G (4G) are listed.
  • A battery certificate suggests about 10,000mAh, up from 9,000mAh on the Redmi Pad 2.

Xiaomi’s next budget tablet, the Redmi Pad 3, has been showing up in regulatory databases around the world, which usually means a launch outside China is not far off.

The listings point to two versions, one with Wi-Fi only and one with 4G, but Xiaomi has not announced a date, a price or even the tablet itself.

The Wi-Fi model carries the number 2610FRP38G. It has been spotted in Malaysia’s SIRIM database and on the UAE’s TDRA list, which identifies it as Wi-Fi-only, and it has also cleared Indonesia’s SDPPI. The 4G model, 26104RPF2G, has been listed in Thailand’s NBTC and Indonesia’s TKDN databases.

The most detail comes from Taiwan’s NCC, where the 4G version was filed with dust and splash protection rated IP52 and three storage and memory pairings, the largest being 8GB and 256GB. A battery certificate rates the cell at 9,820mAh, which a maker would normally market as 10,000mAh. The Redmi Pad 2 used a 9,000mAh battery.

Notebookcheck collected the listings, crediting X user ZionsAnvin for the SIRIM and TDRA entries and TheTechOutlook for the NBTC and SDPPI ones. Its roundup recalls that the Redmi Pad 2 arrived in June 2025 with an 11-inch IPS LCD, the Helio G100 Ultra chip, four speakers with Dolby Atmos and stylus support, which gives a baseline for what the successor has to beat.

Memory is listed as 4GB or 6GB paired with 128GB, and 8GB paired with 256GB, plus a microSD slot for cards up to 2TB. On charging, the paperwork names a 15W adapter in the box and a 33W one as an option, so a faster brick may help. The 4G tablet supports VoLTE and Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz and 5GHz, but not Wi-Fi 6E. Last year’s 4G Redmi Pad 2 had a 2.5K, 90Hz screen, 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras, and 18W charging.

Certification entries only show that a model exists, not what it will cost or where it will sell. The screen, processor and charging speed of the Redmi Pad 3 are still unknown, and more listings should appear before an announcement.
