It’s been only a few weeks now when Nokia Lumia 800 was released. Nokia has already started rolling out the software update for its Windows Phone smartphone Nokia Lumia 800.
The roll-out process has just started today and will reach to the owners of Nokia Lumia 800 in the countries where the smartphone has been released officially.
The update brings the following performance enhancements:
- Charging improvements
- Voice mail notification improvement
- Replying to mail improved for Microsoft Exchange 2003 users
- Improved display switching in bright light
- Improved audio quality
As per the notification the number of simultaneous downloads are made limited so the update might be rolled-out stepwise. However as mentioned the update should reach end users in the countries where the Lumia 800 was launched initially. The software update will be available via Microsoft Zune.
Nokia has also planned a future software update for early 2012 which will bring another set of improvements to the software.
