Google, finally, has started rolling out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop via OTA to consumers having Nexus devices. Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 will be updated from KitKat to the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop while the new Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 will also receive minor updates with bug fixes.
Android 5.0 Lollipop, however, was found to be rolling out yesterday to Moto G (2nd gen) as being the very first device to receive Lollipop, Motorola has officially confirmed that the roll out has been started for second generation Moto X Pure Edition, Moto G devices.
Along with the announcements of Android 5.0 Lollipop and the new Nexus 6 smartphone, Google also has introduced the new Nexus tablet, the Nexus 9. The new Nexus 9 features the 8.9″ big screen. Powered up with a 64-bit processor NVIDIA Tegra K1 Dual Denver and 2GB of RAM, the Nexus 9 features the IPS LCD under the screen with resolution of QXGA (2048×1536). Google has officially announced its next Nexus model, the Nexus 6. It’s a big one sizing 5.96″ on screen with QHD resolution and AMOLED display. 13 megapixels primary camera is facilitated with the optical image stabilizer and Dual LED flash. It supports 4K video recording, 2.7GHz Quad core CPU on Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3GB of RAM. 32GB and 64GB variant.
Recently announced in a blog post, Android Lollipop which is the next version of Google’s mobile OS is thought to be the most intelligent and flexible Android to date. It will work on all kind of device with any size of screens such as phones, tablets, TVs, smart watches and vehicles.
