Nokia Car Mode, that runs within your smartphone to provide easy access and simplified user interface to the most relevant applications for in-car use. The simplified user interface and well designed interaction creates less distraction for the driver than traditional smartphone user interface.
Today at the IAA – Iternationale Automobil Ausstellung, Nokia has announced a standalone smartphone application, Nokia Car Mode, for the in-car use of Nokia smartphones. The application features an optimized user interface and experience to simplify the use of Nokia Drive (an application for voice-guided car navigation with Nokia Maps), traffic updates, music and voice calls while driving. Main thing to tell that Nokia Car Mode, as titled above, is to feature the support with MirrorLink (that is the way a smartphone will interact with the head-units in your car’s dashboard.)
