Huawei Mate 9 Expected to Launch on November 3rd

Huawei reportedly has prepared to launch its next phablet Mate 9 on November 3rd with its Pro variant which is rumored to have dual-curved display.

The year 2016 is about to end in just over 60 days and most of the smartphone makers have shown their products, released and even recalled them back, however Huawei is left with its plans to launch successor in Mate lineup which according to rumors will have two variants – a standard Mate 9 and an other expensive variant Mate 9 Pro with dual-curved display.

While there is no official sources who have told about the features of Mate 9, there have been good information regarding the specifications of the phablet gathered from speculations till date.

Looking at the graphical image released by the Chinese manufacturer with the date on it, does not actually reveal something but only a reference to the speed. It also suggests to be “A Step Ahead” most relevant to the speed again. If we go by the the speculations, it’s Kirin 960 SoC which has just been unveiled a few days ago which according to early benchmarks is second to the Apple’s latest A10 chip.

Huawei Mate 9, in addition, according to reports will be having a 5.9″ Full HD display and will be backed up by 4000mAh battery. Dual rear camera of the Mate 9 will include 4x optical zoom as well as it may also be collaborated with Leica camera. Mate 9 Pro will be featuring same size but higher resolution display with QHD and a 3D dual-curved glass on the front.

Mate 9 will also be running Android 7 Nougat and may be boosted with 6GB of RAM as well as 25GGB of internal storage will be provided.

It’s being reported that Mate 9 Pro may cost up to $1300 or (PKR. 1,30,000/-) which is a huge price point. However we can’t wait to see this product from the Chinese phone makers who have been really serious about competition in recent years.
