iOS 6 officially announced at WWDC 2012 – iOS 6 Beta Now Available for Developers

iOS 6 was not a surprise any more after the banners spotted around the event venue. Today while the event was going on the guys behind the Apple website were also on their job to pick and drop the things on the website to sync with the announcements. One of them was the Apple Dev Center. It was pretty obvious that once the dev center gets back, it will bring the new stuff may be including the iOS 6 for developers. And it’s over. It did get back with first release of iOS 6 Beta download links for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Of course these are only for developers for now.

Additionally for developers newer version of XCode 4.5 Developer Preview and Apple TV Software Beta has been released. iTunes 10.6.3 has also been released.

iOS 6 will be compatible with the “New iPad (3rd gen.)”, “iPad 2”, “iPhone 4S”, “iPhone 4”, “iPhone 3GS” and “iPod touch (4th gen.)”
