Another FM Radio receiver app for Nokia N9: But only app with “RDS” Support
If you didn’t miss out yesterday, we posted about a new FM Radio app for Nokia N9 with some interesting features. Here we have yet another FM Radio receiver app with a little bit straight and professional user interface. But an even great feature of this, is the RDS – Radio Data System – feature has also been added into this new FM receiver app, that means where available, a few of the information about the program currently broadcasting, will be visible within the app interface. Another “FM Radio” application now available at for Nokia N9. Looks good and functional too with simple but fancy user interface. User can save up to 12 channels, auto/fine tune frequency feature. Switching between phone speakers and headset is also supported.

Previously official Firefox for MeeGo was released and was available to download on Nokia N9. If you remember there was also a promise left for flash support in later weeks. Well the promise has been fulfilled and “Flashplayer” is now available at Store.
New software update MeeGo PR1.2 has already started rolling to Nokia N9 since last week. But Nokia officially has announced that the update now has been pushed to 70 percent of the devices and is still rolling to reach all of the devices. Approximately 284 MB is the size of update which will be downloaded over the air and be installed.
More fruit is coming the way to MeeGo. We already have seen Opera Mobile browser came to MeeGo apps family. Now recently another major browser the “Firefox” which is now also available for Nokia N9 at Nokia Store. Flash support is also coming soon.
The first public version of Nokia Link was released a few months ago which initially was released for Windows 7 and MAC OS X 10.6 and 10.7. Nokia Beta Labs has now released a newer version of Nokia Link which will work on Windows XP and Windows Vista. This update was brought in against of the users feedback and is said to be the most requested option.

But as planned, Nokia N9 has now been in the line of all those smartphone platforms which already have the super addictive game Angry Birds. The most popular healthcare smartphone app “Sports Tracker” has made it to MeeGo to support one and only Nokia N9. That really shows interests of developers to develop for MeeGo platform. A month ago Sports Tracker alerted that it’s heading for MeeGo, N9 and now it’s available for Nokia N9 at Nokia Store.
