Nokia Lumia 930

First of all the Nokia Lumia 930 is the global variant of the Nokia Lumia Icon that was only limited to the US users with Verizon. The Lumia Icon was appreciated for its feature-full hardware – such as 1080p display, 2GB of RAM and 2.2GHz Quad-core processor along with 20 megapixels camera – that was not present at that time on any other Windows Phone smartphone. Almost anyone out of the US was out of luck to buy that smartphone in their region. Rather Lumia 1520 was the smartphone that matches the specs of Lumia Icon was available globally but it’s 6-inch screen was not that comfortable for most of the users.

Nokia Lumia 930 is the global edition with all those features of 5″ screen 1080p AMOLED display (441 PPI) with Gorilla Glass 3 and ClearBlack display technology.  2GB of RAM with 32GB of Internal Storage and 2.2GHz Quad-Core Krait processor. 20 megapixels camera with Carl ZEISS optics and optical image stabilization and dual-LED flash. Front-facing camera captures at 1.2 megapixels while gives 720p video recordings.

The flagship Lumia 930 is still not available in any market yet but is expected to be available this month or earlier next month and will come pre-installed with Nokia Cyan build of Windows Phone 8.1 after when the Nokia Cyan will hit older Nokia devices Windows Phone 8.

The back cover which is coloured as mentioned above is polycarbonate panel in one piece and is not removable or replaceable.

Nokia Lumia 630 SS/DS or Lumia 635

As you already know, Nokia Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 are just two variants with the same design as well as they share the same hardware specifications. On the different side, Lumia 630 comes in Single SIM version and Dual SIM version but supports only 2G and 3G networks where Lumia 635 also supports 4G LTE.

As the difference told, we’ll use term “Lumia 630” only afterwards where it would refer to all its variants including Lumia 635.

Nokia Lumia 630 also comes with Windows Phone 8.1 pre-installed. It, however, powers with Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor but the RAM is only 512MB – which means most of the high-end games won’t run on it. Well it’s budget phone afterall. 8GB Internal memory is enough with expandable microSD card option. 4.5″ display with the resolution of 480 x 854 pixels only serves pixels density of approximately 218 PPI.

On the back there 5 megapixels camera which is autofocus indeed but there is no secondary camera on the front for video calling.
