OPPO R7s revealed with 4GB RAM, 5.5″ AMOLED Display

During the GITEX 2015 in Dubai, Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has revealed OPPO R7s, the fourth sibling in R7 family while the company has launched the R7 Lite and R7 Plus just a few days ago.

Design wise the OPPO R7s looks exactly like the OPPO R7 but in a slightly larger body but take the slot just before the OPPO R7 Plus. With the same chamfered edges and the 2.5D arc design on the glass OPPO R7s is no different than its little and bigger counterparts.

More importantly new OPPO R7s, the metal built phablet features 4GB of RAM and a 5.5″ 1080p AMOLED display with a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 and super sensitive touch input while using with gloves. It comes with 4G dual SIM support while the 2nd SIM can only be used if microSD card is not in use.

Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop and ColorOS 2.1, OPPO R7s includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, 32GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot. A 13MP main camera comes with flash and f/2/2 aperture with 1080p video recording while front-facing camera is 8 megapixels.

Measuring as 151.8 x 75.4 x 6.95 mm, OPPO R7s weighs at 155 grams with A 3070mAh battery (unremovable) with support for VOOC Flash Charger.

OPPO has not yet revealed the price for OPPO R7s, though if launched in Pakistan it would be priced around PKR 40,000/- (or $400) as of the price of OPPO R7 Plus for matching almost everything in specifications with a smaller screen and bigger RAM.

Oppo R7s will initially start selling in Australia and a number of Asian markets next month while Europe and the United States will follow in December.
