Huawei P9 is the latest flagship smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer. The P9 lite is the affordable variant of the flagship with fewer features which is expected to launch in Pakistan on June 11th. Expected price of the P9 lite may be tagged within PKR 25,000/- and 30,000/-
Fully built with aluminium unibody bezel and metallic coating over the back panel, Huawei P9 lite carries a 5.2 inch IPS display with FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels that serves at pixel density of ~424 ppi. Covering a volume inside a 146.8 x 72.6 x 7.5 mm body it makes up a screen-to-body ratio of ~70%. Tagging the smartphone in mid-range class, the P9 lite is packed with the in-house HiSilicon Kirin 650 that runs a setup of 8 Cortex-A53 cores with two quad-core 64-bit units (4x 2.0GHz + 4x 1.7GHz).
Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and EMUI 4.1, Huawei P9 lite comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card – supported up to 128GB. The P9 lite features a single 13MP camera unlike the dual-camera setup in P9 and P9 Plus. According to specs, it seems to be pretty casual smartphone camera for a mid-range smartphone that is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps. Secondary camera on the front for selfies and video calls contains an 8 megapixel sensor with f/2.0 lens aperture.
The Huawei P9 Lite has a dual SIM option which support nano SIM cards. This is just like many Huawei devices where microSD card has to be sacrificed if you want to use 2nd SIM card. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, and 4G/LTE.
