Huawei continues to create more hype in Pakistan for its latest flagship smartphone Mate 9, before it actually gets launched in the country. A live video session was recently orchestrated on Huawei’s official facebook page with the popular actor and style icon – Wiqar Ali Khan who appears to have been using the Mate 9 for quiet a few days (may be not if look at his recent picture above carrying his own Mate 8 perhaps). He interacted with the fans where they had the chance to ask questions, both personal as well as about the Huawei Mate 9.

Huawei is expected to launch the Mate 9 in the Pakistan market, within the next 15 days. A quick overview of Mate 9 is that it promises powerful performance, as it features new user interface and experience with EMUI 5.0. The phablet has with a 5.9 inch FHD display and it runs on a Huawei Kirin 960; Octa-core processor (4 x 2.4 GHz A73 + 4 x 1.8 GHz A53) + i6 coprocessor – “world’s first smartphone to combine an ARM Cortex-A73/A53 Octa-core CPU and a Mali G71 Octa-core GPU.”

EMUI 5 analyses and adapts to its user’s behavior patterns to create an inspiring personalized experience – as claimed by the company. The Mate 9 features 2nd generation ‘Leica’ dual-lens camera with Hybrid focus and Hybrid Zoom where on image sensor is 20MP Monochrome, and the other one is 12MP RGB, F2.2 OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) with 4K video shooting. On the front there is 8 megapixel camera for video calling and selfies, that is also autofocus with f/1.9 aperture lens.
