Huawei’s next flagship – the Mate 10 is about to break out mid-October, however its smaller sibling seems to have uncovered in China.

Following the recent reports, the Maimang 6 has officially been unveiled in home country. The smartphone is reportedly dubbed as Huawei Mate 10 Lite. If anything of it goes true with it, you are looking at the most affordable variant of the upcoming Mate flagship from Huawei.

The smartphone features the long reported EntireView display with 18:9 aspect ratio, similar to what other OEMs have jumped into, e.g. Samsung Galaxy S8, Note8, LG G6, Xiaomi MI7, Vivo V7+ and several others. .

Maimang 6 has a 5.9-inch screen has an FHD+ display resolution of 2160×1080. It’s powered by proprietary Kirin 659 SoC with an octa-core CPU. Comes in only a single variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Main feature of the phone is that it has quad-camera system. The dual-cam (16MP+2MP) config on the back and a dual-cam (13MP+2MP) config on the front has well. The phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.1 on top and is backed by a 3340mAh battery.

With dual hybrid SIM slot, Maimang 6 also features a fingerprint scanner, mounted on the back with easy access to your index finger. It’s now available for pre-order in China with availability scheduled on September 30th.

With the color options of Obsidian Black, Streamer Gold, and Aurora Blue, the Huawei Maimang 6 costs CNY 2,399. For better understanding the price, it converts to ~$365 in US or PKR ~38,000 in Pakistan.
