Huawei P20 and P20 Pro made $15 million in 10 seconds of first flash sale

Huawei-P20-Pro-Launch

Huawei has stunned the market with the outperforming record of selling $15 million worth Huawei P20 and P20 Pro in just 10 seconds.

The Chinese smartphone maker launched its latest P20 series smartphones just last month. Following after, the company aimed to ship 20 million units of Huawei P20, P20 Lite, and P20 Pro this year. Assuming the recent numbers of record-sale it seems the company’s plan is going right on its track.

Huawei started the flash sale of its flagship high-end P20 and P20 Pro on vmall last Thursday, for the customers in China. With that high-end-only sale, Huawei has confirmed that it has generated 100 million RMB (or yuan) in just first 10 seconds of the sale. That’s over USD 15 million, or GBP 11 million, or EUR 12 million.

It’s worth mentioning here that the the flash sale didn’t contain the sale of the P20 lite which, if included in the sales, would have collected unmatched response.

As per the report, it’s not yet revealed as how many units were sold during the first flash sale, but considering the revenue the number of units sold would be high.

In case if you didn’t know, the Huawei P20 Pro is the world’s first smartphone to equip with a triple-camera setup. While that’s the number, the smartphone has also received the top camera rating from the camera experts DxOMark.

Additionally, Huawei is currently the third largest smartphone manufacturer after Samsung and Apple. The Chinese smartphone has aimed to take second spot by the end of 2019. With the pace, the company is rising and producing the devices like Huawei P20 Pro, their plan seems to be reachable by the target time span.
