If you had seen Samsung’s 108MP sensor announcement in August, you would already have an idea that Xiaomi was going to offer the highest resolution camera with that large sensor. Now the company has turned that idea into reality. Xiaomi’s Mi Note 10 will be the first-ever smartphone to offer a primary camera with resolution over 100 million effective pixels.
The company has been teasing the community over at Twitter with its upcoming smartphone that will feature the company’s first 108MP Penta-camera setup.
The camera configuration will carry an array of five cameras including the 108MP unit as its primary camera, a 5MP 50x telephoto, 12MP portrait, a 20MP ultrawide angle, and a 2MP macro. This whole camera setup will be supported by Quad-LED (two Dual-LED modules) beside them.
Xiaomi started teasing on October 31st with images shot on Mi Note 10 with 108MP Penta camera. One of them is below.
The company also shared a small video clip showcasing the 50x zoom feature of the camera.
