No Man’s Sky has reached iPhone and iPad in the same week as Forsaken, a Halloween-flavoured update for the game on every platform. The mobile version is free to download and you pay a one-time $19.99 to unlock the whole game.
Forsaken is the fifth major update in the current run, following Remnant, Xeno Arena, The Swarm and Cosmos. It leans into horror, with spooky corvettes, rare haunted technology and a new set of traders.
What the iOS version needs
On the App Store, the game wants iOS or iPadOS 26 and at least an A12 Bionic chip, the one in the iPhone XS. The download is 3.8GB. It bundles ten years of updates, up to and including Cosmos, so nobody starts from a stripped-down base.
Hello Games has dated the release 28 October, though the App Store listing showed 29 October when we checked. If the game doesn’t appear for you yet, give it a day.
The listing describes the usual No Man’s Sky loop: explore planets in an endless generated universe without loading screens, trade resources, fight pirates and hostile creatures, and keep upgrading your ship, weapon and suit. Because the free download only lets you try the game, check what the trial covers before spending the $19.99.
A haunted corvette and a courier job
According to the Xbox Wire post, Forsaken traders now turn up at deep-space outposts. You hand over mementos and get biomechanical corvette modules back. A new run of haulage missions turns you into a courier for the length of a delivery.
Builders get extra habs, cockpits and structural parts for a creepier corvette. Preserved grubs buy two cosmetics, a larva tank helmet and a larva cannon multi-tool.
Smaller changes help on every platform: you can warp straight to stars visible in the sky, switch to a minimal HUD and pick weapons from a radial menu.
Where else it runs
The Xbox Wire post shows the game on Xbox and PC Game Pass listings, but it says the base game covers updates only up to The Swarm, so we can’t confirm from it whether Forsaken is part of the Game Pass copy. The official site now lists iOS next to the other platforms.
We haven’t seen any Pakistan-specific pricing or App Store availability for the mobile version, and will update this post if that changes.
