Xiaomi, better known to Pakistani buyers for its phones, handed over more than 50,000 electric cars in October. That is its biggest month of 2026, and the company said so on Sunday, 1 November. It did not give an exact total or a split by model.
The result matters because Xiaomi’s car sales had been sliding against last year. They fell in both August and September, and October is the first month back in growth.
CnEVPost, which tracks Chinese EV sales, compiled the history: treating 50,000 as the minimum, October is up roughly 25% on September (40,015 cars) and about 3% on a year earlier. It credits the Sky Nomad range, an extended-range model that Xiaomi launched on 7 September, which delivered 12,444 cars in its first month and drew more than 70,000 orders within 30 days. Its read is that Sky Nomad is offsetting weaker SU7 sedan and YU7 SUV sales, though that is the outlet’s reading, not Xiaomi’s. Exact October figures are due from the China Passenger Car Association later this month.
Roughly 61% of the 2026 goal
From January to October Xiaomi has delivered about 336,000 cars, according to the Reuters wire story carried by Business Recorder. Its target for the year is 550,000, so it needs around 214,000 more across November and December, or about 107,000 a month if split evenly. That is more than double October’s pace. The 214,000 and 107,000 figures are our own arithmetic.
All of Xiaomi’s car sales currently come from China, and nothing in the announcement points to a launch in Pakistan.
