New Nokia Store beta reached Symbian^3 devices [download now]

As part of the branding transition from “Ovi” to “Nokia”, Ovi Store was the latest when it got updated to Nokia Store and shipped to S60 v3 and v5 devices a few days ago. Now the update has made up to Symbian^3 devices. A few screen shots of the new Nokia Store on Symbian^3 device have already been published.

Nokia Beta Labs has opened a beta release for new Nokia Store for Symbian^3 devices. We are probably going to review the features in new Nokia Store soon but for now have a download link below and try it yourself.

We are offering members of the Nokia Beta Labs community a preview of the new Store client.  Please help us in testing it before it is deployed in a software update.

This beta Store client will replace the current Store client on your Symbian^3 or Symbian Anna device, and it supports nearly all of the features as the official Store client (Web Runtime).  The key new features this client brings include:

• Easier navigation
• Improved product details view, for a rich and fluid discovery experience
• Quicker, smoother and more responsive than WRT client
