Nokia World 2011 actually has already been dated and everyone knows about that when it’s going to happen. Nokia Conversations, however recently made an announcement about it. As well we have a recent updated information about the agenda and the personalities going to speak at the Nokia World 2011 in three weeks.
Recently released Nokia Store QML Client was really superb shift in UI from earlier versions of Nokia/Ovi Store client in Symbian^3. Today Nokia Beta Labs updated the new Nokia Store QML Client with a couple of bug fixes.
Nokia Link was released recently for Nokia N9’s connectivity with computer where Nokia strictly mentioned its only availability to Nokia N9. But look what we got. It’s working with Nokia N8 too.
After downloading Nokia Link and starting it I saw that it has detected a Nokia N8 connected to it and verifying the content and free space on the it. Yeah the N8 was already connected to the computer. It worked
It’s most often when you see some application or a game on Nokia Store which is not compatible or which is not available specifically for your device but it is available for some other device which is just like your device with respect to the OS or Software. For example Nokia N8 and Nokia C7 both does have the same OS Symbian^3 or even Nokia X7 is also based on Symbian^3 from core. So most of the apps and games should work on all of these devices if it works for one. Nokia Drop’s integration with Nokia Store lets you download those apps which are not available for your devices.
Nokia Searay will be around 110.7 x 57.1 mm (110.7 mm in height and 57.1 mm in width) which of course is smaller than Nokia N9 (116.45 x 61.2 mm). In fact it will be even smaller than Nokia N8 (113.5 x 59 mm)
It can not be avoided that Nokia Maps (aka Ovi Maps) are the most anticipated maps and navigational services around the world amongst any other Maps and Navigational services on any platform. Nokia previously made its web based maps available to HTML5 enabled browsers which directly facilitated Android and iOS devices, nonetheless with fewer features. Now a big and most awaited Nokia Maps on Windows Phone has been appeared with its full formed native app in Marketplace.
Nokia Searay, the first Windows Phone seems to have fully visible in high-resolution. We can call it a resized version of some official and commercial high-resolution banner by the German T-Mobile, if this was real. Or otherwise it just may be another fake Photoshoped image.
Well after Nokia Searay revealed by Stephen Elop himself earlier this year, we recently learnt about another Nokia Sabre by Microsoft themselves mentioned inside the terms and conditions of a Windows Phone App contest. Now here we have another rumour about another Windows Phone by Nokia and that is named as Nokia Ace.
Nokia Beta Labs has released a new version of Nokia Play To which now supports Symbian Belle (btw earlier version of Nokia Play To was working fine on Symbian Belle, I am not sure what kind of Belle supported they added in this version.)
Nokia has recently release a software application for Windows and Mac to connect and sync your Nokia N9 with your computer.
