IM Chat client and Social client for Nokia updated with UI and Belle Widgets

Two of the Nokia services and apps, Chat Client “IM for Nokia” and “Social Networking Client” – earlier designed specially for Symbian^3 devices – now have been updated to work with Nokia Belle with additional features and Belle UI. In fact these new versions won’t support initial Symbian^3 or later Symbian Anna OS as these new versions come with new widgets specially for Nokia Belle home screens.

Nokia and Telenor Partnered to Excel Pakistani Developers

Nokia Pakistan and Djuice (A Subsidiary of Telenor) have collaborated to start a chain of developer workshops to train software developers . Focusing on the development for Nokia’s S40 devices, the aim of these workshops is to cater to the lower-end of the market. The first workshop in this chain was held at Telenor regional office where Tony Torp (an external trainer from Nokia) shared the details of development tools available to develop mobile apps for S40 devices while hands-on training session was also delivered to the participants.
