A few days ago Microsoft Devices Pakistan donated computers to The Garage School (TGS) located in Karachi Pakistan. It was an impressive initiative that could help underprivileged students getting quality and free IT education. Following is the story coming from the school after their students’ experience with the computers.
Microsoft Devices Pakistan made a donation of 10 fully functional PCs to The Garage School (TGS). The school, which currently enrols more than 400 under-privileged students, will now be able to provide free quality IT education and impart modern tutoring to its students, which will help them in developing a sound future. The computers are fully equipped with the latest software and hardware components which will help the students learn and hone their computer skills on the most recent technology.
Microsoft Devices (formerly Nokia) introduces another Android smartphone but with an upgraded set of hardware which especially includes 1GB of RAM which was previously very low at maximum of 512 or 768MB of RAM in Nokia X+ and Nokia XL. Another addition in the Nokia X2 is the ClearBlack display to better perform outdoors. Better processor and front-facing camera.
Yesterday, during an event in Lahore, Microsoft Devices Pakistan (previously Nokia Pakistan) launched the second and bigger Android smartphone the Nokia XL in Pakistan. Nokia XL enhances the performance from the previous Nokia X by increasing the RAM as well as it comes with the bigger 5” screen and 2 megapixels front-facing camera.
Nokia XL derives with the same tile-based user interface inspired by the Lumia family as it came with Nokia X. Software side is completely similar in Nokia X family. Nokia XL comes with a bigger 5″ display with 2MP front-facing camera –a must have for video calling – and a 5MP rear-facing, autofocus camera with LED flash, increased 768 MB of RAM. Nokia XL will be available in bright green, orange, cyan, yellow, black and white.
