Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 710: A strategy to reach every type of customers

Today Nokia has announced its very first two Windows Phone OS based devices, Lumia 800 (the high-end smartphone) and Lumia 710 (an affordable smartphone). Well this has always been the main strategy of Nokia to launch new devices to reach every type of customers taking from budget devices to the high-end device. Which actually is a good thing to make more of its fans/customers happy with the latest devices. Same goes with these new Windows Phone devices, the Nokia Lumia 800 is costly with more impression to its build quality and on the other hand Nokia Lumia 710 is an affordable device with a bit lower quality materiel used to make it less expensive – Not actually that lower quality at all but lower than Lumia 800. Nokia re-branding continues: Ovi Suite to Nokia Suite, revamped UI

It’s been quite a few months now that Nokia re-branding has been started. Ovi Maps turned Nokia Maps and then Ovi Store changed to Nokia Store with other changes. Now it’s the turn of Ovi Suite to be lost and Nokia Suite to take its place.

Nokia Beta Labs recently released a new version 3.2 of the suite with the name Nokia Suite this time. Please note that previously Ovi Suite had been moved to the Nokia Store after getting out of the beta releases.

Nokia MakeMyApp winners announced and awarded at P@SHA ICT Awards

P@SHA ICT Awards were recently held in Karachi in collaboration with Nokia where the participants of MakeMyApp competition awarded the prizes. Winners in each of the categories (Entertainment/ Fun & Games, Business Productivity, Easier Living and Think Gree) received the prize money of PKR 400,000/- in cash.
