Mobilink & Warid Officially Rebranded into “Jazz”

Finally, the CEO Mobilink & Warid Telecom has announced via his twitter account about the rebranding of the two companies into one brand name “Jazz” calling it the digital revolution.

The merger of the two telcos Mobilink and Warid in the country is the big transformation of two similar businesses which took over a year to complete last month after when Islamabad High Court Approval.

The CEO, Aamir Hafeez Ibrahim, previously has teased via a video message stating that he had something to share on Monday while hinting about moving onward with shifting the brand name from Mobilink to something untold – but everyone knew it was “Jazz” of course as this was the new umbrella brand Mobilink announced earlier last year.

Today via his twitter handle, Mr. Ibrahim has announced about not only Mobilink but Warid too – as both will be rebranded into “Jazz” describing it as a new beginning in a new year.

Round – 4G services on Mobilink and 3G services on Warid

While the two companies are still in process of transitioning with infrastructure and services, customers of the companies are already having dealt in combined and shared resources as both both the companies has previously has relaunched the same package plans for their customers.

On the other hand, Mobilink customers can avail new 4G SIM cards from near by Jazz Points as the 4G services on Mobilink were first started in trial mode but now available for public as well – thanks to the existing Warid’s 4G cell sites as Mobilink has quickly shipped the 4G services in far more areas than expected.

Warid customers who already have 4G SIM cards can now enjoy 3G services as well credited to the existing Mobilink’s vast 3G coverage.
