Recently launched Huawei P10 at Mobile World Congress, receives an overall score of 87 points at DxOMark’s ranking. The high-end Huawei P10 Camera has just secured theas “top performer” from the camera experts.
Finally beating last year’s iPhone 7 on the list, the Huawei P10 is still behind the Google Pixel, HTC 10, Galaxy S7 and Xperia X Performance.
DxO found that the Huawei P10 produces good exposures even in extremely low lights. White balance was accurate during the test as well as color rendering was also good.
The DxO experts mentioned that P10’s camera is among ones which produce sharpest images in smartphones. Image detail and textures are also good. When tested the autofocus capability of the smartphone, it also was found to be fast and accurate. The still photos are referred to be excellent by the experts with the sub-score of 88 points.
In video recording, Huawei P10 offers UHD 4K (2160p) recording at 30 frames per second or 1080p recording at fast 60fps. With the sub-score of 84 points, the video footage generally shows pleasant exposure, good dynamic range and accurate white balance in all conditions.
Videos, like still photos, also delivers excellent detail and textures – that too with plenty of fine detail and well-defined edges. Autofocus also performed better in video mode reacting fast with smooth transitions during the scene changes or while panning.
