HMD Global today announced the launch of its second Nokia smartphone running Android platform – the Nokia 5 in Pakistan. The phone will be available to buy through Advance Telecom starting today.
The Finnish company unveiled three Android devices Nokia 3, 5 and Nokia 6 earlier this year at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona along with the nostalgia Nokia 3310. The new Android devices “combine superior craftsmanship, distinctive design and powerful entertainment features, offering you the ability to use your phone, your way.”
Nokia 3 was launched last month in Pakistan and has seen a good market response (Nokia 3 Review). Whereas the demand for the next two devices was also noticeable, we reported earlier that Nokia 5 will be launched on July 26th along with the price. The Nokia 5 has been precision engineered out of a single block of 6000 series aluminum. The unibody structure flows seamlessly into the laminated 5.2” IPS HD display with sculpted Gorilla Glass. Available in three distinct colors – Matte Black, Silver and Tempered Blue, the phone will retail at PKR 21,900/-. Nokia 5 is also shipped in another fourth color – Copper, which is not available in Pakistan.
