Meizu, a consumer electronics company, has been in smartphone business since a few years. It has been operating in various emerging markets. But now the Chinese company has stepped in Pakistan officially and arranged a bloggers meetup at Nishat Hotel in Lahore.
Meizu introduced the initial line-up of its devices, including the Pro 7 and 7 plus – the first smartphones with dual-screen and dual-touch. The company also introduced the standard Meizu M6 and M6 Note. These four smartphones will be available within the coming week and will be available with local warranty from Green Tech’s distribution and customer care network.
Meizu has a plan to aware the customers with its latest technologies and developments. The company officials gave presentations to highlight the capabilities and features of its latest smartphones. The bloggers enthusiastically participated and greatly benefited from the insights into the latest technologies at the event.
Meizu PRO 7 and PRO 7 Plus
The Meizu Pro 7 features a 5.2 inch screen with the AMOLED display and 1080p resolution. It has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor and 4 GB RAM along with 64 GB internal storage
Meizu Pro 7 Plus has a bigger 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution display. Pro 7 Plus has an high-end deca-core Helio X30 chipset with 6GB of RAM. The phone, however has a same internal storage of 64GB.
Both phones have dual camera configuration of 12+12 megapixel on the back and a 16 MP camera on the front. Most importantly, both the phones have a second 1.9-inch display on the back, which shows notifications, weather and other useful features including selfies with rear cameras.
The smaller Pro 7 has a 3,000 mAh battery while the Pro 7 Plus has a 3,500 mAh unit. Fast charging is supported via Meizu’s mCharge tech.
Meizu M6 and M6 Note
Meizu M6 is targeted at the budget market with low specifications and really affordable price. The phone features a 5.2-inch 720p display along with a quad-core MediaTek processor. It has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. On the back, there is a 13 MP rear and an 8 MP front-facing camera.
The bigger M6 Note has a larger 5.5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 625 processor, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The M6 Note features dual camera setup with a 12 MP primary and 5 MP secondary cameras on the back. There is a 16 MP camera on the front.
M6 Note comes with a larger battery as well of 4,000 mAh capacity, while the Meizu M6 is powered by a 3,070 mAh battery.
Fast charging is also available via an 18W fast charger.
