As Google+ Pages have already been announced last week, the support for auto-managing your Google+ Page has now been enabled through various tools and platforms.
Google has just announced the enabling of first six companies to access and test Google+ functionality. These companies are listed as following Buddy Media, Context Optional, Hearsay Social, HootSuite, Involver, and Vitrue.

Google+ Pages for Businesses Announced: Create your Google+ Page Now

Google has officially announced the missing part of Google+ community, the “Google+ Pages” for businesses. It may seems be longer but I guess not that much longer that Google+ pages have been officially launched and you can easily set up a page for your business or brand. Initially when I attempted to create one earlier today right when I got the feed from Google’s official blog post about the launch, it wasn’t available for everyone. Though in just a few hours Google+ pages were open for everyone and we also have got our page set up.

Facebook has announced a new feature called the “Subscribe” button. That is; if you are interested to hear from some individual’s like journalists, artists and political figures but you personally do not know them, so adding them as your friends and asking them to accept your friend requests is really not a good idea, it actually never was a good idea which Facebook now has identified and gave you the option to “Subscribe” their statuses and posts.

Google +1 button now shares site content to Google+ Streams

Google has officially rolled out the feature of Sharing web page content along with a snippet (+snippet). The feature will automatically work on your website if you have enabled Google’s +1 recommendation button on your web pages.

Well this is what Facebook Like/Share button does. Recommending with +1 button will additionally popup a layer with containing the title of the current page, the summary, and the image from the page (this content is termed as +snippet by Google). You’ll get the exactly interface on the popped up layer what you normally see on Google+ share box with all the functions like selecting circles or specific friends to share the post with.

Twitter adds “Possibly Sensitive” flag to tweets with media containing inappropriate/NSFW content

Twitter has just announced today about a new field “possibly_sensitive” in the Twitter API, to allow developers to deal properly with the tweets containing sensitive content.

End users will have an option to flag media as sensitive on the details pane of a tweet if the tweet does have at least a link, a picture or a video.
