Nokia responds over Lumia 800 Battery Bug, Promises a fix in Software Update or a Phone Replacement

After considering the battery issue persisted with some Lumia 800 owners, Nokia has released an official statement regarding this issue which actually tells that they at Nokia admittedly have identified the problem which was spotted, not at many, but at a limited sets of Lumia 800’s which can easily be fixed via next software update. Or if you don’t want to wait, Nokia can arrange for a replacement phone.

Supposed to be Nokia 900/Ace got replaced with Lumia 800: NokiaDevForum edited the video

Do you remember the recent accidental appearance of an unknown/unannounced Nokia’s Windows Phone in the video published by NokiaDevForum? That was supposed or considered to be Nokia 900 or Nokia Ace leaked last month, but when the images of such an unknown device started to get noticed and spread over the blogosphere, NokiaDevForum pulled the video and set it to private. It was just a matter of time that NokiaDevForum did a really very unexpected thing by uploading the same video again but this time the device in the video is not that what we saw earlier. Nokia N9 gets company: A comparison with Nokia Lumia 800

nokia-n9-vs-nokia-lumia800I wonder if anyone there knowing MeeGo/Harmattan based Nokia N9 and also knowing recently launched Lumia 800 powered by Windows Phone 7.5, isn’t familiar with the similarities between both. Other than a few soft buttons/keys and a hardware camera key there is hardly a difference of a bit of size between both. But there sure is a big difference packed inside them. Both of the devices are running on completely different track, Lumia 800 with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 OS while N9 is the only standing device from Nokia running MeeGo/Harmattan OS.
