Huawei’s Mate 10 launch is just a few hours ahead, where the company is going to unveil the long-waited Mate 10 series of smartphones. But for now, we have gathered about some three or four models of the smartphone.
Huawei Mate 10 Standard & Pro
The two of them are of course none other than a Mate 10 Standard and Mate 10 Pro. Featuring the latest proprietary Kirin 970, standard model is reported to have 5.9-inch 1080p full HD display while the Pro model might have a 6.2-inch FHD+ 2160×1080 EntireView display and narrow bezels.
The Mate 10 Pro is also reported to have 4000 mAh battery and Leica Dual-Camera configuration of 20MP+23MP with f/1.6 lens aperture. The standard model may only differ in size and design but is supposed to carry most of the similar hardware inside as the Pro model. But take in mind that both models may ship in different memory/storage configurations in different regions.

RAM configurations might appear with 4GB, 6GB in both models along with 64GB and 128GB internal storage. Pro model is also reported to have a premium configuration of 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Huawei Mate 10 Lite
Huawei Mate 10 Lite is another suggested variant of the upcoming Mate series to cover mid-range market. The one launched as Maimang 6 in China or later as Nova 2i in Malaysia, is rumored to be the Mate 10 Lite for global world. With these different names it’s also being rumored that there’s no Mate 10 Lite variant that would exist.
There are only a couple of reasons the market would see the Lite variant of Mate 10. Its reported higher price tag for standard and pro variants, which should push the company to make a cheaper model as well. In addition, if a Mate 10 Lite is there to come, it won’t be so different than the previously launched Mate 9 Lite. So if you are mid-range smartphone seeker, you should keep your fingers crossed.
The most prominent feature of the Mate 10 Lite, if it exists, will be the quad-camera and 18:9 wider display resolution in a mid-range price.
Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design
In addition to the three above, we have also the premium edition of Mate 10, the Porsche Design, as it was released with last year’s Mate 9. There is no more information available about the Mate 10 Porsche Design but the but one of the company’s regional facebook page has posted with the statement “The most advanced technology meets the most expressive design on 16.10.2017. #Huaweimate10 #PorscheDesign”.
