The most appreciated facebook app “fMobi” for Symbian/Qt platform has now been available for MeeGo/Harmattan platform and is available to download. You can try it if you have got Nokia N9. Read more to download and try it.
Nokia Store is however there for you to get additional apps or games or any thing for your Nokia N9 but sometimes there are some reasons when you want or need to install apps that are not on store. e.g. some developers want their apps to be tested before publishing over to store so they could provide you a standalone installer file to run on your device.
Nokia N9, as for now, won’t let you switch USB connection once it has been established. It currently requires you to disconnect and remove the USB cable to change the connection mode. And you must have to choose one on very first prompt whether what connection mode you want to connect with, when connecting the USB cable to Nokia N9.
After very long time Foursquare has developed and shipped completely a new version of Foursquare app for Symbian devices. This new version is based on Qt framework and provides a slick user interface for quick check-ins. Also adds the full support of special offers.
We have been on testing Nokia N9 for quite a few days and have published the unboxing session already a couple of days back while now when the design elements of Nokia N9 are ready to be reviewed, here we go again with a moderate set of pictures showing how the Nokia N9 has been designed to serve its users in a very different and unique way. But before continuing on, I’ll want you to know what I have to say about it’s design in a single line. Nokia N9 is one and the only device with its unique and appealing features of the design along with the user interface, I’ve ever experienced.
During the evaluation of Nokia N9 I found a few hidden things(don’t know if they are already listed somewhere) which I managed to tackle what actually does the trick. Here are the first four tricks which actually are useful at some extent.
Navifirm shows the most recent update for Symbian Anna devices Nokia N8, C7 and E7 for a few regions globally including China, Argentina, NAM (North America?), Brazil, etc.. Complete lists have been attached after the break.
We believe the users of these devices should be able to get update over the air or via Nokia Suite soon (or may be already it’s been pushed) as the updates are listed under the “Production External” in Navifirm.
Ever thought of playing games with physical objects using your Mobile phone? Nokia Beta Labs has come up with a small set of games representing the idea from Nokia Research Center. The NFC-Enabled Games. The games Nokia Beta Labs has just released are just simple and casual which will run on any Symbian device having NFC chip in hardware. Nokia C7 and many newer Symbian Belle devices will be able to run these games.
Nokia N9 has not yet been launched in Pakistan but is due in a week or two. However we have got our hands on Nokia N9. Thanks to Nokia Connects for sending us a review unit. And so thanks to Nokia Pakistan to let Nokia Connects issuing devices to Pakistan for reviewing purposes. We’ll sure use the time with it in a productive way so that we could extract as much from this and only MeeGo flagship by Nokia. And of course we’ll do it the same way as we have always done.
