It’s the second Windows Phone device from Nokia that we have got a chance to get our hands on it. Nokia Pakistan has provided us Nokia Lumia 710 to test and here we are, on it. Just like always the first impressions of the device were quite good with regard to the design and build but it simply doesn’t match up with the polycarbonate Nokia Lumia 800.
Like a few other Windows Phone Apps only for Nokia devices, “Creative Studio” is also another addition to the the family that now lets you play with the photos in your Nokia Windows Phone as well as apply special effects while in the live camera viewfidner. Additionally you can take panoramic photos and share on social networks.
Nokia has also announce a new Windows Phone in Lumia family “Nokia Lumia 610”. Being the low-end affordable Windows Phone, Nokia Lumia 610 features the lowest hardware ever found in any Windows Phone based device. The device includes an 800MHz processor, 256MB of RAM, and a 5 Megapixel camera. Lumia 610 is supposed to run Windows Phone 7.5 (Tango) specially optimized for lower-end of hardware specifications.
Nokia has officially announced the White Lumia 800 to follow the initial three colours Black, Cyan and Magenta later this month, February. This will be the fourth colour of the first Windows Phone 7 smartphone from Nokia. Like Nokia N9 later came in white glossy finish, White Lumia 800 will also be of same material with glossy finish instead of matte used used for original Lumia 800 versions.
After a recent release of software update for Nokia Lumia 800, Community Manager at Nokia Discussions reveals about a future update that be in regard to the audio and camera settings in Lumia 800.
That was no surprise to see the beautiful Lumia 800 residing on top of everything in the box because we knew it’s the same design as we have seen and experienced with Nokia N9. But it’s to believe that this stunning industrial design left no boring impression – in fact it delivered the pretty same impression (we had with Nokia N9) when it came back into our hands bundling with another OS “Windows Phone 7.5” from Microsoft.
A new software update has been started rolling out to Nokia Lumia 800. This is the second update Lumia 800 has received since the first update in December 2011. The latest software update brings fixes to the known issue for battery performance and the issue of keyboard suddenly disappearing.

One of the first Windows Phones from Nokia, Lumia 800 has arrived in our hands. We are really grateful to be the first in Pakistan getting hands on this sleek designed Lumia 800 and writing about it.
