QML Based Nokia Store client by Nokia Beta Labs has been updated to version 3.18.032 and brings the fixes for theme installation and update all feature from within the Store client. These two fixes were added to the front-end of the client while there are a few new features which are yet to be deployed at store back-end.
You might be having an idea that Nokia N9 doesn’t have HDMI-Out support but a good thing is that like other recent Nokia devices N9 supports TV-Out feature to deliver the output of your smartphone to the big screen you have at home. Well there has always been a situation when you need your phone to be restored to its factory settings or even sometimes when some odd things start happening in your phone and simply restoring it to factory settings isn’t helping then you look to do a hard reset (aka format) your phone which actually gets the things fixed. So being a phone, Nokia N9 is same in nature that you will want sometime to get it reset or hard reset whatever the reason could be.
With the help of Developer Mode in Nokia N9, you can transfer files and other data including music and videos as well from/to device via WiFi and SSH within the same network.
I wonder if anyone there knowing MeeGo/Harmattan based Nokia N9 and also knowing recently launched Lumia 800 powered by Windows Phone 7.5, isn’t familiar with the similarities between both. Other than a few soft buttons/keys and a hardware camera key there is hardly a difference of a bit of size between both. But there sure is a big difference packed inside them. Both of the devices are running on completely different track, Lumia 800 with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 OS while N9 is the only standing device from Nokia running MeeGo/Harmattan OS.
Today Nokia has announced its very first two Windows Phone OS based devices, Lumia 800 (the high-end smartphone) and Lumia 710 (an affordable smartphone). Well this has always been the main strategy of Nokia to launch new devices to reach every type of customers taking from budget devices to the high-end device. Which actually is a good thing to make more of its fans/customers happy with the latest devices. Same goes with these new Windows Phone devices, the Nokia Lumia 800 is costly with more impression to its build quality and on the other hand Nokia Lumia 710 is an affordable device with a bit lower quality materiel used to make it less expensive – Not actually that lower quality at all but lower than Lumia 800. The hardware in both device are much identical at some places.
