Microsoft continues with the Nokia’s legacy of making apps and supporting their own platform with feature-full options. The company has recently released a “Gestures” app – currently in beta which will allow users to control their Lumia devices with motion.
Nokia Refocus lets you take the shot with just one click without letting you worry about to focus the object. It automatically takes different shots over the entire focus range and provides you the interface later to focus where you want. Nokia Refocus app will be available in Windows Store under Nokia Collection for the Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 925, Lumia 928, Lumia 1020, and Lumia 1520
In Abu Dhabi during Nokia World event, Nokia announced a bunch of apps which will be reaching Windows Phone in coming weeks as well as a few of them already available on Windows Phone store. In the mean while Nokia Camera has been quick enough to replace Nokia Pro Cam on Windows Phone store.

A bundle of apps on the Windows Store from Nokia’s exclusives are however only available for Windows Phone but many of them have been initiated from the previous platforms of Nokia. “Symbian” or even S40 platforms they are.
“Nokia Chat”, previously (and still) been working on Symbian, Asha and Series 40 devices, has now been released for Windows Phone platforms including both WP 7.5 and WP 8. The first version of Nokia Chat for Windows Phone which is beta release can now be downloaded and installed from Windows Phone Store following the link at Nokia Beta Labs (after the break).
Nokia did plan major software updates in place of the Windows Phone 8 for the existing devices a couple of months back. Today Nokia has once again reminded the same with the specific applications titles that will be coming to existing Nokia Lumia range of smartphones that include Nokia Lumia 610, Lumia 710, Lumia 800 and Lumia 900.
