UNESCO Pakistan and Nokia have just launched a basic literacy application “eTaleem” for mobile phones. eTaleem will run on Nokia’s most affordable S40 series phones and will allow people to easily access lessons for Urdu reading, phonetics, word synthesis, sentence making, and basic math.

Microsoft has announced and published the list of 180 countries which will be having access to the marketplace for Windows Phone 8. Currently the marketplace is only available for 63 countries which makes it a 3 times bigger up to 180 countries. Well that includes “Pakistan” as well.
Flickr (A Yahoo! company) has officially announced that they have partnered with Nokia to bring up-to-date map data tiles from Nokia’s NAVTEQ maps to help their users geotagging their photos, discovering places, or simply want to see where other people’s amazing images were taken. The new betas versions of Nokia Store Client for both Symbian^3/Anna/Belle and for Series 60 3rd and 5th editions has been published to preview. Symbian^3 version of Store client reaches version 3.30.005, with additional billing support and bug fixes, while the the Series 60 version reaches 1.30.004, getting better product description formatting plus the additional payment methods.
